Anawim Housing is hosting our very special annual event to support those moving into Anawim from homelessness - the We Empower Families ThanksGIVING event! Join us for an evening of moving stories of resiliency, food, drink, and community.

Anawim Housing and The Beacon have partnered to establish a new non-profit organization that will expand pathways to recovery for people affected by substance use: Full Circle Recovery Community Center (Full Circle RCC).

During National Vocational Rehabilitation Week in October 2021, the Department of Veterans Affairs Central Iowa Health Care System sent a letter of acknowledgment and appreciation to Scott Sithonnorath, Anawim ReNew Crew Manager, regarding the work Anawim Housing's ReNew Crew has done to assist and retain Veterans in life-changing employment with Renew Crew.

During mental health awareness month, Anawim Housing took time to reflect on how mental illness touches and affects so many aspects of the work we do and those we serve.

Anawim Housing proudly congratulates Sieh, Anawim program tenant, on obtaining his U.S. Citizenship! Sieh's program manager, Scott Sithonnorath, helped Sieh work toward this long-term goal of his for the past four years.

Des Moines, IA 3/31/21 — The Nelson Foundation, the philanthropic organization of the Nelson family, who privately own and operate Kemin Industries, announced a $50,000 donation to Anawim Housing to support our mission through the Sister Stella Neil Rental Relief Fund.
