We Empower Families Thanksgiving Event

Anawim Housing is hosting our very special annual event to support those moving into Anawim from homelessness - the We Empower Families ThanksGIVING event! Join us for an evening of moving stories of resiliency, food, drink, and community.

Special Artist Feature:

For this year's event, we are combining art with our mission of developing stable homes and strengthening people and communities. Held at Mainframe Studios, the event will feature a captivating photographic display by Photographer Joe Crimmings titled: Project Des Moines. The display aims to challenge the idea of what homelessness looks like, level the playing field, and create room for exploration of thoughts, biases and stigmas.
