We Empower Families
We Empower Families is a donor group made up of passionate individuals who are committed to supporting Anawim Housing’s mission to provide safe, affordable homes for families and individuals. The roots of We Empower Families go back to 2007, when the group was first founded by two Anawim Housing board members, Cecelia Kent and Dotty Thurston. Their vision was to empower Anawim Housing to provide safe, affordable homes for families in need.
Attend An Event
Our annual We Empower Families: Home is Everything event is hosted every fall and is a great opportunity to learn more about Anawim Housing and meet others with a shared passion for for providing a safe place to call home. All are welcome and encouraged to attend! Anawim Housing also invites people to host events in their home where a member of the Anawim Housing team joins your friends and shares our story.
