Anawim Program Tenant Obtains U.S Citizenship

Anawim Housing proudly congratulates Sieh, Anawim program tenant, on obtaining his U.S. Citizenship! Sieh's program manager, Scott Sithonnorath, helped Sieh work toward this long-term goal of his for the past four years. Sieh is originally from Liberia and speaks limited English and cannot write. Sieh has faced many barriers - and after being homeless for many years he was referred to Anawim Housing in 2017. Through admirable perseverance, support, and the help of translators and his program manager Scott, Sieh (who is now 77 years of age) is officially a US citizen and is eligible for social security. What an inspiring accomplishment!
