On Thursday, June 8th members of Anawim Housing's Board, the Downtown Chamber, the East- South Chamber and President Russ Frazier cut the ribbon on the new Anawim Housing office!

Some of the families that Anawim Housing serves come to us with practically nothing but the clothes on their back. For those families, everyday items, such as a bed to sleep on, can seem more of a luxury rather than a basic necessity.

On October 6th, Anawim Housing broke ground on our 30-unit senior housing development: Brickstones At Riverbend, located at 513 Forest Avenue in Des Moines.

The 6th Annual Opening Doors Awards Ceremony took place on November 18th.

The Community Foundation recently awarded Anawim Housing a Leadership Grant of $100,000 that will go towards our Legacy Project.
