Anawim Housing broke ground on our Legacy Project on April 23. Thank you to all who came out an joined us on such a beautiful day.
Thank you to The 6th Avenue Corridor, The River Bend Neighborhood Association and The Polk County Housing Trust Fund who all came out and joined us - and a special thank you to councilman Bill Gray and Mayor Frank Cownie for taking part in and speaking at the groundbreaking.
The Legacy project is located at 1521 6th Avenue. Currently at this site sits an uninhabitable home that needs to be torn down, and an empty lot. In its place will be six, three-bedroom townhomes.
All who attended were very excited about the spark for positive change that this project brings to the 6th Avenue Corridor.
