Anawim Housing hosted a very special event to support those moving into Anawim from homelessness - Our We Empower Families ThanksGIVING Event that was held on Thursday November 11th at Mainframe Studios.
Event was presented by The Graham Group and Family Communications Associates | Claudette and PJ McDonald.
We combined art with our mission of developing stable homes and strengthening communities. Art is a wonderful way for people from all backgrounds to come together, create inclusion, and find connection. The resiliency, personal growth and strength we witness from those who have transitioned out of homelessness into Anawim Housing was celebrated through art and an inspiring presentation.
The event featured a silent art auction, food, drinks, and moving stories of resiliency. Beautiful works were shared and sold that were created by both local artists at Mainframe Studios, and by Anawim Housing program tenants.
Betsy Happe, Marilyn Carroll, Pam Douglas, Sheila Rayburn, Patricia Shoff, Claudette McDonald, Liz Goodman, Kate Massop M.D.
