Our Needs

Every gift to Anawim Housing helps support the hundreds families we serve through our residential units and the Shelter Plus Care program. The median income for a family of four living in Anawim Housing is approximately $17,000 a year.

In addition to financial gifts, Anawim Housing appreciates gifts of housewares, furniture and small appliances in good condition, including:

  • Bedding: Blankets, Comforters, Sheets (all sizes), Pillows
  • Cleaning/Repair: Snow Shovels, Brooms, Mops, Small Tool Kits
  • Furniture: Dressers, Beds, Living Room Furniture, Tables and Chairs
  • General Items: Bathroom Towels, Kitchen Towels, Wall Art, Waste Baskets, Rugs
  • Kitchenware: Silverware, Bakeware, Cooking Utensils, Pots and Pans
  • Small Appliances: Vacuums, Toasters, Coffee Makers, Microwaves
